Travel trade and media delegation to Guam – A group of 23 travel agencies and 14 local media representatives visited Guam as part of a promotional initiative in collaboration with the Guam Visitors Bureau.

A New Route Linking Malaysia and the Pacific

The new Kuala Lumpur–Guam route by Philippine Airlines is set to strengthen regional tourism and business links. The airline now operates daily flights via Manila, making it easier for travellers to connect between Malaysia and Guam.

This update also helps the Philippines reinforce its role as a regional hub and key entry point to the Pacific. Travellers from both Malaysia and the Philippines now have more options for leisure and business trips.

Promoting Travel Between Three Regions
Philippine Airlines confirmed that the route improves access and strengthens ties between Malaysia, the Philippines, and Guam. The service supports tourism and also encourages trade, cultural exchange, and business growth.

“This route allows people to travel more easily and encourages closer social and economic ties,” said a spokesperson from the airline.

In addition, the route provides new opportunities for investment and cooperation across the three destinations.

Travel Agencies and Media Visit Guam
To support this route launch, Philippine Airlines organised a familiarisation trip in collaboration with the Guam Visitors Bureau. They brought 23 travel agencies and 14 media representatives to experience the island firsthand.

The group explored key sights and attractions, helping them better promote Guam to Malaysian travellers.

Travellers flying from KLIA to Guam can enjoy a convenient stop in Manila, with options in both economy and business class.

Right now, *Philippine Airlines offers special fares starting from RM1,950 (excluding taxes)**. Travellers can book through the official PAL website or authorised travel agents.

  • The Kuala Lumpur – Manila route has operated since 2017.
  • Philippine Airlines upgraded the Manila – Guam route to daily service in 2014.
