
Holland America Line was founded in 1873 and for more than 140 years the line is widely recognized as one of the leaders in the premium segment of the cruise industry. Holland America Line's fleet of 14 mid-sized ships offers more than 500 cruises to 415 ports in 98 countries, territories or dependencies. Holland America Line visits all seven continents and highlights include Antarctica, South America, Australia/New Zealand and Asia voyages, Grand World Voyages and popular sailings to the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, Canada/New England, Europe and Panama Canal.
Today, Holland America Line carries more than 800,000 cruise passengers a year. The line has a new 2,650-guest ship, ms Koningsdam, sets sail in April 2016 and in fall 2018 her sister ship, ms Nieuw Statendam will join the fleet.
