GLACIER EXPRESS
Travel on the famous Glacier Express – one of Switzerland's best scenic train rides across the Alps connecting two of the most popular resorts – Zermatt and St. Moritz. The entire journey takes around 7.5 hours and crosses 291 bridges, passes through 91 tunnels and climbs over the 2033m high Oberalp Pass. There are of course faster ways to travel. But none as beautiful as the journey by Glacier Express, the panoramic train traveling right through the Swiss Alps. Here the journey is really the destination.

Modes of printing
- Paper ticket
Reservation
- Reservation is compulsory for travel on the Glacier Express Train and must be used in conjunction with either an Open Ticket or a Pass
- Seating availability is limited. We recommend that you make your reservation well in advance
- Reservation is non exchangeable and non refundable
- Valid Passes are: Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex, Eurail Global Pass, Eurail Select Pass including Switzerland, Eurail Regional Passes including Switzerland
Passholder fares
- Passholder fares valid on the Chocolate Train: Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex, Eurail and Interrail Pass covering Switzerland
- Passholder fare is non exchangeable and non refundable
Disentis-Zermatt
- Swiss Passes are valid on the whole route
- Eurail Pass holders and InterRail Pass holder are entitled to a 25% reduction on the additional tickets on the Disentis-Zermatt section
