Sales and Marketing Executive, APG Malaysia
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales and Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team at APG Network Malaysia. This role focuses on the travel and aviation industry, and your primary responsibilities will include meeting existing travel agent clients, signing up new product contracts, and driving outside sales initiatives. As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and ensuring our sales targets are met.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:
- Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales and marketing KPIs.
- Identify and secure new potential clients and business opportunities, including virtual and in-person meetings with travel agents and clients.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to promote our products and services.
- Gather market intelligence to inform competitive strategies and drive sales conversions.
- Handle customer and trade complaints professionally and effectively.
- Coordinate and execute team activities to maximize productivity, ensuring timely and effective sales visitations, sales analytics, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient administration within the department, offering assistance to colleagues as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agents, corporate partners, airlines, national tourism offices, and government authorities.
- Attend scheduled and ad-hoc meetings as required by the company and principals.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for the Sales Manager and principal.
- Evaluate the success and effectiveness of sales initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at trade shows, promotions, briefings, seminars, and training events.
- Drive market expansion efforts to increase sales volume and achieve sales targets.
- Manage and maintain the company's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging, shareable content for specific platforms to drive traffic and customer engagement.
- Monitor and participate in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and industry, engaging with existing leads, customers, and new audiences.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the travel and aviation industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with social media management and content creation.
- Willingness to travel and high mobility.
