Branch Manager

Penang

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to support airline commercial activities in Northern Malaysia. Based in Penang, this role focuses on strengthening travel trade relationships, driving regional sales growth, and coordinating branch operations while working closely with the Kuala Lumpur office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and contribute to revenue growth in the Northern Malaysia market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and industry partners.
  • Conduct regular sales visits and trade engagement activities across the Northern region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand.
  • Support airline promotions, campaigns, and commercial initiatives in the region.
  • Oversee and coordinate inbound tour operations handled by the Penang branch.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide market feedback to the Kuala Lumpur office.
  • Maintain close coordination with the Kuala Lumpur office on sales strategy and operational matters.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in airline, GSA/GSSA, or travel industry sales.
  • Good understanding of airline distribution, travel trade networks, and market dynamics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage regional sales targets.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willing to travel within Northern Malaysia when required.

Reservation and Ticketing Executive (Airlines)

We are looking for a Reservation and Ticketing Executive to support airline reservation, ticketing, and sales operations. This role is suited for candidates with hands-on experience in airline ticketing and reservation systems, who are comfortable working with operational tasks, trade partners, and airline procedures.

Accuracy, system knowledge, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:
    • Handle airline reservations, ticketing, and customer inquiries for FIT and GIT clients.
    • Issue tickets and manage booking changes, refunds, reissues, and reschedules accurately.
    • Perform daily operational tasks including queue management, pre-flight checks, and ticketing authority controls.
    • Support BSP and CTO-related reporting, sales reports, and data collection.
    • Coordinate with airline partners on fares, policies, and operational matters.
    • Resolve customer and trade partner issues professionally and within agreed timelines.
    • Assist in preparing monthly market, sales, and performance reports.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with travel agents and airline partners.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in airlines, travel agencies, or ticketing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of airline reservations, ticketing procedures, and travel documentation.
  • Experience with BSP or CTO reporting, refunds, and sales reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems or GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre).
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
  • Good communication skills and confidence handling customer and trade inquiries.
