This unique and one-off project is the result of a collaboration with the Eure Chamber of Art and Crafts and the Normandy Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Halfway between a concept store and an  exhibition space, the Maison des Métiers d'Art showcases regional know-how.

This space promotes both Norman and French arts and crafts, as well as enhancing the culture and gastronomy.

"The Maison des Métiers d'Art is a space dedicated to the promotion of craftsmanship from the Normandy region. It is a place that displays and sells a wide range of handcrafted items and creations."

It is a new space that is unlike any other.

Mathieu Lehanneur – Designer, concepteur du lieu.

A suspended moment in the heart of Normand

McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny offers much more than a shopping experience. Thanks to its ideal location, equidistant from Paris and Rouen, the centre allows you to combine a shopping trip with a weekend getaway. The countryside and the Normandy coast are favourite weekend destinations for Parisians.

A territory rich in heritage, Normandy brings together many enthusiasts, including sailing, equestrian, gastronomic, cinematographic and artistic events.

From the discovery of Claude Monet's house, to Le Jardin des Plumes, the table of Chef David Gallienne (Top Chef 2020), which is particularly popular in the region, or the Rouen Armada and the Deauville American Film Festival, this attractive new commercial destination will also become a powerful attraction for the 40 million tourists who visit Paris each year, as well as those taking a trip to the Château of Versailles, the Mont Saint Michel and the D-Day landing beaches.

Sustainability at the heart of the McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny project

At McArthurGlen, we are committed to limiting the negative impact of project activities on the environment and making a positive contribution to the communities in which our centres operate.

McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny is no exception to this principle and has been since the project's inception. The construction site has been certified HQE Excellent, with particular emphasis on limiting visual and noise pollution and recycling waste.

Once opened and operating, a significant proportion of the energy used for heating will be covered using renewable energy from biomass, in particular, from local wood, which will be the main source of heating.

Throughout the site, vegetation and biodiversity will play a key role, with no less than 434 trees, more than 7,200m² of shrubs and perennials not to mention the green roofs.

« Our centres are designed to be increasingly environmentally friendly. A 90-meter-long green wall designed by the botanist Patrick Blanc not only helps to decorate our central aisle but is also one of the many initiatives put in place at our McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny centre to limit our negative environmental impact. Our commitment is also to society and we make sure that we participate in the dynamism and economic development of the region. With an investment of over €200 million, symbolising our ambition to become a major player in the region, our McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny centre will also generate positive impact and opportunities for its population, notably through the 700 jobs created. »
