Swiss Mountain Peak


Beginning 12 February, Rail Europe is very pleased to offer tickets for five mountain peaks in Switzerland. Tickets are for round-trip travel from mountain station to the summit. Discounted tickets are available to travelers with a Eurail pass that includes Switzerland as well as Swiss Travel System passes. In all cases, the use of a travel day will be required.


  • Gornergrat: travel on Gornergratbahn mountain rack railway from Zermatt to the Gornergrat railway station on Gornergrat. Features year round viewing platform
  • Mount Pilatus: travel from Alpnachstad or Kriens in Central Switzerland to the Pilatus Summit with the world’s steepest cogwheel railway
  • Schilthorn – Piz Gloria: travel from Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland to the Schilthorn – Piz Gloria mountain top. This four-segment cable car ride forms the longest cable car system in the world!
  • CabriO Mount Stanserhorn: travel from Stans to the Stanserhorn summit by nostalgic tram and the world’s first double decker open-air CabriO cable car
  • Mount Titlis: travel from Engelberg to Mount Titlis in Central Switzerland on the world’s first revolving cablecar. Includes a walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge and a ride on the ‘Ice Flyer’ chairlift across the Titlis


Brand New B737-800 N. Krylov Joins Aeroflot Fleet

February 18 2016, Moscow. — Aeroflot took delivery of its new B737-800 Next Generation aircraft made by Boeing. The plane is named in honour of Ivan Krylov, Russian best known fabulist, poet and publicist.

Aeroflot’s Boeing 737-800NG has two-class composition with 20 seats in business class and 138 seats in economy class. The Business class salon is equipped with monitors for viewing media content. All Boeing B737-800 aircraft are delivered to Aeroflot directly from the manufacturer. Boeing 737 is one of the world’s most popular single-aisle jet airliners providing high level of comfort on medium-haul routes.

Enjoy non-stop flights from Cebu to Los Angeles

PAL announced the launching of non-stop flights between Cebu and Los Angeles beginning March 15, 2016 as part of the expansion of the flag carrier’s route operations to the United States.

The start of the new service will commence on a milestone date – PAL’s 75th founding anniversary.

The thrice weekly service will utilize the 254-seater bi-class Airbus A340 with 36 lie-flat seats on business class and 218 seats on regular economy.
